Shrew Poem by Howard Camner

Shrew

She's a low-rent Lolita
in her wisdom wig
when she works her way to Why

She's a high-heeled hypocrite
spewing fiction as fact
every other Sunday

And when the world won't listen
she just carves it all in stone
and hopes her tears won't wash it away
