Sickness (By Jennifer Hardin) Poem by Danielle Franklin

Sickness (By Jennifer Hardin)

Rating: 5.0

The sorrow overwhelms me
As I watch you walk away.
Such tragedy befalls you
Yet you're still so brave.
Why must the world be so cruel
As to give you this terrible disease?
I know someday they will find a cure
But for now all I can say is, hurry please.
No one deserves this fate
To wander the world eternally incurable
But alas some do. So my prayers go to them
And you that you all may be durable.
One day the cure for this will surface
But for now just hold on
Relax do what you can
And be brave for yourself and everyone
