Sigh - Poem by Mellisa Aday

The tears of pain have fallen
The hours of sleep have passed.
Each day a new beginning
Opportunities within grasp.

A small flicker of strength
A glimmer of hope.
Excitement aroused
Ambition restored.

A smile, a laugh
A gleam in the eye.
The pain has passed
A breath of relief, a sigh.
