Sight Poem by Michael Skelding

Sight

Sometimes
awareness overwhelms

from the moment
that you wake

there is a clarity you seek
but rarely find.

A knowledge
that is palpable

but without explanation
in our ordinary day.

An interweaving
tapestry

you sense
is just a thread away

from offering a scene
that is complete.
