Sighting In The Park Poem by Joe Bisicchia

Sighting In The Park

It shot out of nowhere,
down from the sky
and pop!

Then, it bounced
plop, plop, plop,
and stopped right there,
at our feet.

And all we could do was stare.

Felt like an hour,
looking at this little round thing
from up on high.

It had such an intricate, complicated,
wondrous design.
What marvels could this thing do?
What knowledge could it emit?

We'll never know.
Squirrel darted off with it.
