Sigil Poem by Leon Moon

Sigil

the symbolic epitome
of evergreen nowhere
is the eclipse.

lightning of a pencil
liquid rocket-fuel
for desolation's manual

and the lust for answer
is erected despite lack of response,
ideal bait for sorrow

and a sage's forgetfulness
remembered through fierce laughter
after the first morning of victory;

forget of return.
we are assured
victory is true.

let us cast away our care
without ritualising it!
for the bright skeleton in the chair

is different to the man
who used to know he sat there;
symbolic epitome of an evergreen eclipse.

nowhere…
