Silence - Poem by Christie Enahoro

It is but an empty sound
A moment devoid of speech
A noiseless presence
But not without meaning
Listen attentively to what it says
Grasp the message of the inaudible words
Then you'll understand it's far from being quiet
Silence is a loud shout begging for more ears
