Silence Poem by Rebecca Lourenstein

Silence

Listen.
What do you hear?
beyond the silence.
I hear the sun rising on the other side of the earth while the moon sleeps where I lie.
I feel the bud wither and die as the sunflowe burst forthand raises its' face to the light.
The wind howls inside me as the water crashes on the shores of my skin.
beyond the silence,
I am intune with the world.
As one I feel and hear MOTHER EARTH.
In the silence,
Listen.
