Silence Poem by Zarah Muhammad

Silence

Silence!
A pain, when the mouth can't speak
And the heart sheds tears
Of pity, and not sorrow.

Deep the pain lies
Hotter, than the scorching sun
Burning the reflection in the heart
And eating up the snidely flesh.

Searching for remedy
Will just lead to tragedy
And bleeds the wound more
While people just titter.
