Silence Is Loud - Poem by brooklynn dyer

tick, tock and i'm
sleeping to the sound
of silence, black watch
ticking around my wrist.
tick, tock and another
second is gone, my
life just a little shorter,
and i'm still sleeping
to that harsh scream.
