Silence Kills Poem by Stephen Howard

Silence Kills

Standing in your kitchen.
I await your answer.
Through the silence, a door breaks open.
You ignore my question.
O How I long for an answer.
Any answer.
Yes! No!
Never! Always!
My heart pounds, throbs, breaks.
For you will not answer.
