Silenced Poem by Jacob Andrew Jarman

Silenced

silenced, I try to speak but the words linger in my throat
My arms shake, I choke
my skin shivers, no hope
I close my eyes, tightly hoping for a breeze
strong enough to carry your scent to me
Pull covers over my eyes
pull truths over your lies
trapped in a nightmare
of you, no longer there
