Silenced Truth Poem by Abdullahi Alim Haji

Silenced Truth

As elections days thrive
I worry less about being a leader
Because i know
The authoratative elders are alive
Humming aunts are at home
And the tribesmen are present
I feed them from my pocket
A hundred k is enough for each
I meet with the clan elders
And feel their mouths
Why do i worry about a fake youth
A weak form 4 liver
A jobless night runner
An infant drug dealer
