Silent Night Poem by David Oladipupo Olorunshola

Silent Night

In my village
Whenever the heavens
Open up and bring down
It's content

Our little friends
Are always very happy
They all come out
Wistling to one another

Jumping and jumping
Making swirling circles
Becorning to others
To join in the fun

And when it is dark
And the night is silent
They become louder
You hear there voices

Croak, croak, croak
Every few seconds
With the voice of the
Mature a little deeper

In the silent night
It goes on and on
Intermintentently until
You hear them no more

My little friends
Will dance in the pool
Jump and curddle
One another playing

Summer time
It's always a happy
One for everybody
It brings so much
Fruitfulness
