Silent Scream Of The African In America Poem by Doris Dzameshie

Silent Scream Of The African In America

Silently screaming in our minds
Oppression, torture, raping our very being
Can’t you hear our silent screams?
Look deeply into our eyes
For we cannot speak of the what, why, when and how
So we scream silently.
