Silent Screams

I hear your screams travel up the stairways
like the bears climbing the mountains
Rising higher and higher
I no longer fear your fighting
I ignore it
It's like hearing a t.v. murmur
To me, your screams and shouts are nothing more than noise
Little noise that means nothing to me
