I said no, a whisper drowned in the
roaring sea, A plea, ignored, like a
breath in the wind, My body, my
temple, invaded, profaned, His
touch, a brand, burning through
my skin.
I feel icky, I feel gross, A stranger
in my own flesh, his desire, a
poison, seeping deep, Turning my
world into a twisted mesh.
I want to burn my skin off, purge
the stain, Claw out my eyes, blind
the pain, Jump into acid, melt
away the shame, Escape the prison
of this violated frame.
He took what he wanted, a thief in
the night, left me hollow, stripped
of light, my voice, silenced, my will.
dismissed, I am left with the
echoes of a stolen kiss.
I feel icky, I feel gross, A ghost
haunted by his shadow, A scream,
trapped within my throat, A heart,
shattered, hope left fallow.
In the depths of despair, I search
for strength, to reclaim my body
to heal at length, to rise from the
ashes, to rebuild, A warrior, my
spirit never stilled
I will burn away the pain, with fire
of my own, Claw out the darkness
reclaim my throne, No acid can
cleanse, but time will mend, And I
will rise, stronger, in the end.
