Since You'Ve Been Gone - Poem by Hosezell Blash

Seems like the trees don't grow anymore,
Seems like the time moves much to slow,
Seem like my strength is about to go
Since you've been gone.

Seems like the stars stay in at night,
Seems like the days are not so bright,
Seems like the moon stays out of sight,
Since you've been gone.

Seems like the days are much too long,
Seems like the robins have forgotten their songs,
Seems like the humming birds don't even hum.
Since you've been gone.
