Sing Poem by Katelin Taylor

Sing

Rating: 4.0

Sing, to drown out the devil
Laugh, to cover the pain
When it feels like the end of your earth has arrived
Breathe in, and then do it again.

Work, so your mind won't be idle
Cry, so you will not explode
Stand like a warrior and get on your knees
And know that you're never alone.

Thousands of men have walked down this road
Before you, and thousands to come
They all made it through who did walk with the Lord
And those men you could soon stand among.

So keep up the fight though you just want to die
Serve our great Savior, who's waiting on high
Seek the Lord's will and now in it abide
For it will be worth it all when we see Christ.

It's all well and wonderful to have faith but how can you when millions are killed in the name of religion or political agendas (right and left) ? .How can you have Faith when injustice rules and man is so cruel? Your poem, however, is very well intended and should give some a ray of hope Thanks for that..
