Singing Sensation Poem by Kelly Sue Davila

Singing Sensation

The Lights Dim
Day brightens,
Sense of being
Begins to heighten.

Touch of adrenaline,
Words pour out,
Where to begin?
Not having to shout.

Music starts to play.
So many songs,
Must sing today.

Close out visions,
Muted surroundings.
Open your soul,
Release your founding.

Express your meanings,
Reach out with words.
Let the crowd understand,
Beauty floats as birds.

Absorb the pleasure,
In being heard,
Recieve an ovation
Suspense is assured!
