Single Challenge, Single Dream Poem by Neran Sati

Single Challenge, Single Dream

Once a young man comes to a sage exclaiming:
„The dream I was dreamin is the best of all dreams! '
The sage replied: „How can you tell, when awake
you conform to that same life as all of us! ? ' Young man
explain': „In my dream, I were a bird at love to fly, were
a wolf at love to devour, were a fly at love to mate with
millions, were a pig at love to wallow.. In my dream I
were whatever one could ever wish for. Tell me what,
what could be more appealin, than turnin into any
creature, ever created? And yet, without it danger! '

Then the sage told him: „Everything in our world has
its beginning and end. Same, your life and your dream.
Nobody ever witnessin what happens next. Yet, let me
tell you this: were your best bet of a dream, its turnin you
into others, it's hard to see awake be either more value.
For, you be never able fully to enjoy, that sole existence
of the human be. Only humans were able to choose, as
to give and love receive, to prosper with dignity at war
or peace, and also sacrifice to share dreams with others.

Only human dream stands apart by that liberty of choice.
So, when your dream push you become everything,
once you'll maybe taken by, as to become a singer bird
for one day, a soldier wolf for another, or lusty fly, either
a pig, for yet another. And you may never reach that sole
human dream, as to choose the light out of dark, love out
of lust, dignity out of defeat, humility out of victory, or purity
out of plenty. And awake, get chance of siring it. All that
molding human's dream to be superior to your dream.

No creature can dream that human dream, yet his mind
can enter their dreams. He doesn't need to dream the
dreams of others. His propensity for virtue, a sacrifice
and dignity - surpassin all precedin him. As life pass', once
alert or ere departing, only human heart may feel fulfill'
attainin its main dream - of virtue gainin love or beauty,
livin with honor and dignity. And when need, stand up to
fight for fellows right, to choose and live their own dreams.'
