we've only just met
I have some things to sort out in my head

i'm dancing beneath the sky
holding out my arms
in wait for you to rain down
and wash me away with you
rain down and i will never again
cry unhappy tears

please don't give up
i'm in a brand new place
i need a kickstart on my heart
to connect it with a new face

i'm swimming through deep seas
searching for your song
deep in my soul
you sing to me
you were with me all along

i want to be with you
just give me a little time
to truly show you

how beautiful you are
inside and out
how i could love you forever
and you would never doubt

i feel this song within me
a siren's lilting tune
carrying me through the tides
