Six Am - Poem by Sarah Elizabeth DuVal

It was six am,
When I woke up crying
from a dream.
You were on my mind,
Though I don't know why.
Haven't seen you for awhile,
Been wondering how you are,
And what you've been up to.
Seems like forever that we last talked,
How I wish I could see you again.
Time has passed so fast,
And changed us both
so much,
I'm surprised we recognized
each other.
