Sky Poem by Alex McCullough

Sky

So sweet are the dreams,
You give to me,
Filling me up with such warmth,
That I'm never alone.
The time I've known you,
I've lost count of,
But with all the memories we've shared,
I feel like you've been here since the beginning.
Again and again,
Can you hear it? ,
The whisper that echoes through the nights,
Have you dreamt of it?
Cause if you have,
Then you know song my heart sings for you each night.
Come my way,
And recieve the feelings I hold for you,
Deep as the sky, yet endlessly long,
To hold you up so you never fall.
If you come close to me,
Then the cries of my soul will scream out in agony,
To let you know I'll be here with you,
Until the sun rises to cast light on your world once again.
