There was no moon to inspire me
The day was filled with frustration and fire
Desperately looking for divine intervention
Trying to fathom endless thoughts of confusion
Nowhere to land safely by the seashore
Not even a boat to rescue me and take care
Remebered suddely to look up gazing at stars
Ignoring discomfort in the surgery area scars
Millions stared at me and briefly smiled
Hoping to find my own and got disoriented
Started to ask questions, do you know me?
Yes, answers came from above and within
'Know you from several births in the past'
'You were a good human being and are now too'
' What problems are troubling you'
'This is what happens to all beings'
'Problems come and go
'Your real self remains untouched'
What is my propblem? Where is the origin
In my own tumultuous mind
One star in the sky twinked brighter
And assured me not to worry
Another star followed twinlking brighter
Many followed in the dark night
Seashore was very clam
My own storm within was passed
Before I came to my good sense
Several minutes went by unaware
