Slander is a wicked serpent
I do not need to be reminded
I’m harder on myself more than you ever will be
Mistakes I have made are always right in front of me
I tell you the truth, my time is not paid
Not a day goes by, I am reminded of all the wrong turns i have made
The screaming inside my head needs to stop
The sorrow needs to fly away
The pain needs to cease!
Maybe going back to feeling numb is my best bet
I’m being suffocated, suffocated within my own self
I do not need to be reminded!
