Sleep Poem by Chris Leermakers

Sleep

I'm absolutely tired
sometimes can't think straight
when it gets too late,
when that wired,
waiting is a breeze
so I'll retire into a freeze
catch that slim chance
looking at your glance
and then do nothing
with my advance
I am hoping to sleep.

The only thing right now,
the only thing for me,
rest and recharge,
then watch me how
to sleep effectively

You know that time of night
when all you want to say
is goodnight and goodbye
I'm off to bed to die,
then reborn again tomorrow
awoken forever,
but awareness increases
each and every day
do you hear, what I say?
if not, sleep is better that way.
