Sleep Poem by Katie Crain

Sleep

Anxious, falling, never will bloom
Will not go far, I presume.

'Why are you upset? '

Smile, smile, smiles from me
Nothing's wrong, can't you see?

'God, it's like we've never even met! '

Lies? Maybe.
The truth? you'll see!

'You're so pathetic, why not play Russian roulette? '

Don't worry, I won't be troubling you soon,
For now I go to sleep.
