Sleep, Moon And A Faint Memory Poem by Raj Arumugam

Sleep, Moon And A Faint Memory

one is aware
sleep's gentle hands
release one awhile
to turn over, perhaps
and one is conscious of a gentle light
and one sees the moon between the trees
a wisp of cloud ghost-moves past;
and sleep, the seductress, embraces one again
