Sleeping Beauty Poem by Andrew Tom

Sleeping Beauty

I be waiting
Until the sun sets
At dawn so I could
Lift you high above

I be waiting
For the sound
Of your voice
To sing me this lullaby

My sleeping beauty
You're the one
Who made me weary
Just put me to sleep

Put me out
Of my misery
So I can get this chance
To sleep peacefully
