The Mid Winter Dream Poem by Andrew Tom

The Mid Winter Dream

Rating: 5.0

Darling angel rest in my arms
Comfort me tonight
Watch the sun sets before you
A day of my greater sacrifice

A new era has emerged
I hear these sirens calling
Weeping in silent lullaby
Enchanting for forgiveness

Down I went with them
Perished my heart inside out
A raindropp filled with tears
Drenched my skin in mid winter

Soaked by the elegy
A voice serenades in grace
The sensation in my hands
Melts rapidly and isolates

The Mid Winter Dream
Trespassing as I walked
A scenic beauty so aesthetic
This image I envisaged

I saw her laughing while she cried
I saw her dancing with the stars
In the Mid Winter Dream
That can only take me by far

Her angelic face smiled at me
I reach towards it with all of my might
Slipping further away
She vanishes in the twilight
