Sleeping On Floors Poem by John Libertus

Sleeping On Floors

Since someone's love matters,
your place to sleep
will seem soft and warm
through the wintry-wet night;

since dreaming is never alone,
since you dream of sharing,
good dreams and bad, together,
will be hopeful aches in blossom;

since the morning light will come,
let it come with you beside me,
til the long night is over,
let us weave our love together.

This brought a brief tear to my eye - 'hopeful aches blossom' - it's just a lovely piece.
