Sleeping Through Sunrise Poem by Dylan Attard

Sleeping Through Sunrise

Up so late every night,
Thoughts of you they just feel so right.
You make everything feel alright.
So, keep me company 'till the morning light.

Hold me close under these sheets.
Keep me warm with body heat.
Cool me down with your lips.
Grinding closer to your hips.
Press your body against mine.
Let's drift away, lose track of time,
And when the morning light does come.
Kiss me again and give me some.

I look in your eyes, so blue and deep.
And from my eyes tears of joy will weep.
So proud to be your only one,
So proud that we have just begun.
So let's get started and have some fun,
Push your body against mine.
Forget the hours and the time.
Your hair falls over your shoulders and skin,
So soft and perfect, your love is sin.
But God forgives all, so lets just play.
And stay together, in bed all day.
