Sleepless Love Poem by Jeovanny Valdez

Sleepless Love

Here I lay in bed tossing about late into the next morning,
The candle I lit begins to grow dim.
But my love for you burns eternally like the stars. But I play the fool, knowing that your heart is far removed from mines.
Does she think of me? I think not, for the thought of me is like my candle, it grows dim as time passing by.
