Slipping Poem by The Queen's Dagger

Slipping

Destroy me if you must.
I have already lost your trust,
so I will no longer try
to contain my pain.

I do not care if you drain
me of all that I am,
as long as I lay slain
when all is said and done.

I won't hold on to myself,
my hands will just slip
and I will lose my grip.
