Slipping Into Darkness Eternal - Poem by Daniel Wittfoth

Another bottle of whisky
drowning in my own misery
Wrapped within solitude
swallowed up in sorrow
Feels like the end of the world
slipping into darkness eternal

One bullet in the chamber
numb-cold-without hope
Body useless
this heart beaten down and broken
Feels like the end of the world
slipping into darkness eternal

Shadow of death
keep hanging 'round
Whispering my name
like thunder in my heart
Feels like the end of the world
slipping into darkness eternal...
