Slipstream Poem by Marshall E Gass

Slipstream

particle flight within sight
movement in motion delight
the faster you go the greater the traction
the broader the front
instant reaction.

no world is safe in heavens gate
nothing is conquered so late
try as you might its always alright
pace out a lifetime-take flight

where are we now in the rush hour of life
what did we gain, in the struggle and strife
why not accept the fate that is ours
settle in grandly, ignore the powers
