Slow Fade; Poem by J.C. Masa

Slow Fade;

Sometimes I wonder if you're an acquainted stranger
Or a destined lover.

You are something infinitely interesting;
I can't even explain what I'm feeling.

I care about you in ways no words could ever capture.
But if you opened up my heart, you'd see those words are like scripture—

Where your name is the center of my belief.
Your presence alone is enough to bring me joy and relief.

For now, I'll let fate decide and let these emotions flow along with the tide,
Knowing some feelings are meant to drift, not to arrive.

I hope someday they'll coalesce our wandering hearts back to life.
The time will come when my feelings for you will no longer hide.

I'll carry this truth softly—
Then let it pass with time.
