I wrote it all down
Its all here for you to see
Just how I have been
Without you here with me

Staring at walls, walking halls
With nothing but time on my hands
Seems like time is ever still
Like slow moving sand

Its exactly as you said it would be
Friends stop by with so much to say
They speak but I don’t hear a thing
My mind is on you and far away

Its exactly as you said it would be
The loneliness the emptiness in me
And I wrote it all down for you to see
The heartache and the nights with no sleep

Did I mention the crying
Did I mention the tears
Did I mention the dreams that come in the night
The thought of never holding you near

I wrote it all down
Its exactly as you knew
But I cant seem to find nowhere in my mind
A way to ever stop loving you.
