Slowhand Poem by Patrick Szwaja

Slowhand

slowhand blues wisp across the evening

waltzing with the summer breeze

a faint dirge’s echo lilts along

like the sorrow of sailors asea

pale moonlight haunts the twilight

as my fingers mourn and dance

the world sings back, nature’s chorus

i’ve found my verse by chance.
