Sly Poem by Cody A. Buckmaster

Sly

It seems like im constantly running.
The world crumbling around me.
Watching my every step.
I find myself lost in space when thinking of you.
I feel warmth on my arms.
Cant see straight.
Everything is doubled.
I see your face as I lay on the floor.
You smiling at my life-less body.
My eyes closing slowly.
I see a man in a black hooded gown.
His finger pointing toward me.
The last thing I remember.
You laughing as he takes me away.
The pain going away slowly.
Feeling relief at last.
I see myself gliding away from my cold body.
