Smile Poem by sally ann jackson

Smile

I tell you of a brightness &
a darkened world I'd felt
A light that once had glittered deep
Of cards that I'd been dealt

A destiny set out for me
For which I cannot change
But with my love for life you see
Able to rearrange

With this we have a common ground
Move forward as we go
No longer shall we carry on
& take it has a blow
