Smile Poem by Sean Toland

Smile

Everything ends,
Nothing lasts forever,
So sing in the rain,
Don't pray for better weather,

Smile while you work,
Whistle while you play,
Burn the candle at both ends,
Until your dying day,

Always offer insight,
Always accept applause,
Ignore minor criticisms,
Everyone's full of flaws,

Dance and be merry,
Always act the chancer,
Try to forget that everything good... inevitably causes cancer,

Don't let sleeping dogs lie,
Or little arguements fester,
Make a perfect stranger smile,
With some type of gesture,

Always persevere,
To make someone realise,
That your happy they are in your life,
make them see it in your eyes,

So smile, whistle, dance and sing,
'Cause u don't want to waste today,
When we don't know what tomorrow will bring,
