Smile Poem by Antony Glaser

Smile

Smile at the smiling man
dance with the idling sun,
as your surfeit along.
Eyewards to the sky
there's no windup
we raced the city's bright roar
journeyed with tears in your eye
Who be my silence?
or should i look for an island
Time out, I was telling a story
with only a guise in between
