Smiles Poem by Jennifer Gordon

Smiles

Rating: 4.0

Smiles on the out,
But I really want to shout.
I can't take it anymore.
the pain makes me sore.

I'm tired of hiding,
so scared of lying.
These smiles that you see
aren't really what they're meant to be.

You see happy. I see sad,
Sometimes I just get mad.
Why won't anyone notice
for this,
that all I want is bliss.

One day when they finally see me
It'll be too late
Cause I'll have set myself free
Broken the cage
So notice me before its too late
and I'll have been let be.

Good poem, I like it cause you really wrote what you were thinking at the moment 'You see happy. I see sad, Sometimes I just get mad. Why won't anyone notice for this, that all I want is bliss.' I agree, it's really frustrating that some people seem to see nothing even when things are obvious.
