Smiles Of Deceit Poem by Rose Adoro

Smiles Of Deceit

I awaken in memory lane,
Recrossing rivers of heartbreak and pain. Reliving nightmares and scars, crying not tears but blood, familiar bars...

I wake up in dreamland's domain, pain and heartbreak rule, their swords disdain. Damaging good souls without regrets, evil monarch, blood-drenched vegnettes.

Tomorrow I awake, sing my heartbreak song, continue the journey, reality and dreams prolong. The only difference i keenly foretell, fake smiles convince, the mind's fragile spell.
