The blanket of white fabric,
Creates one magical world,
The cold air hits the warm face,
The experience not controlled.
The world where if one mans palm,
touches the flake,
it melts so quickly, leaving the cold,
to make any-body shake.
The eyes shine on the child’s face,
the smile breaks with bright emotion
the snow still falls, leaving that child
so full of temptation.
The mittens on, coat zipped tight,
Wellies squeezed over them fluffy socks.
The child runs out, eyes glues wide,
Watching the snowballs fly over in flocks.
The whisper of the cold air
Brings a shiver to the child
They all run inside
Till the snow is not so wild.
