Snow Poem by Hermione Femalton

Snow

The sky and fields all were white,
Snow was melting in our hair
And sliding down our backs in clumps,
But on that day we did not care.

Snow-men built with up-most care,
Snow was flung with gleeful joy.
Forgot our troubles and our fears
As war broke out 'tween girl and boy.

Wrappen up warm in gloves and scarves,
scating on frozen lakes;
Gazing up at the sky with awe,
Trying to catch the dancing flakes.

So tell them all,
So all will know,
And may God bless
the winter snow.
