Someday Soon Poem by Hermione Femalton

Someday Soon

Night has always held up day,
And so it is with us.
And the moon is left forgotten,
And so it is with us.

But I will die alone,
And you'll be alone too.
My time is running out,
And you'll be alone too.

But death is so complete,
And man is just so small.
Heaven's so far away,
And man is just so small.

But we are not destroyed;
Just look beyond the flesh.
Really we are angels;
Just look beyond the flesh.

But someday, soon, I promise you:
Together, we'll break free.
Hear my last request,
And take a leap of faith with me.
