Snow A Silent Sound Poem by sorbus green

Snow A Silent Sound

I watched it fall softly on the lawn,
silently covering my plants I miss
the greenest grass and spring flowers,
emerging from winter sleep as snow lies
deep, a winter beast from the east with Siberian chills,
Nature again asleep bringing winter ills to yearn for better
days as snow lies on my lawn as I watch a fawn who forages for
a morsel to keep his hunger pangs at bay, snow is a silent sound
as it drifts and swirls falling softly on the ground.
